SpeedFiler rejects my activation code

SpeedFiler may reject your activation code in any of the following cases:

• You entered an activation code for a different version of SpeedFiler.
  A SpeedFiler 1.x activation code will not work in SpeedFiler 2.0 -- you need to purchase an upgrade.
   
• You entered the customer reference number instead of the activation code.
  Your SpeedFiler's activation code arrives in a separate message, which also contains instructions on how to apply it. It consists of five lines of text similar to the following:

• You did not copy and paste the activation code properly.
  Follow these instructions in order to activate your copy of SpeedFiler.
